Blockchain newbie in the house!

Is it too late to learn Blockchain?

I was in my 1st year of engineering when I first heard the words Crypto and BitCoin. They were being discussed by a bunch of whizkids in our class, which means I didn’t pay much heed to them. “Probably some computing thing I haven’t heard of and will never develop any interest for”, I thought.

Fast forward to 2017, BitCoin's value surged to an all-time high and crossed the value of an ounce of gold for the first time. I was intrigued but still disinterested. Just another investing scheme, I decided.

Well, it is now 10 years since I first heard the word and it is still so damn relevant in the world. 10 years of me having eluded the world of cryptocurrency and the software powering it, namely Blockchain. I have switched my career track and changed multiple industries in the last few years. But blockchain and crypto have maintained a tantalizing distance from me and my work.

As a technical content marketer, I often have to research and create well-informed blogs on technical long-tail keywords. My most recent gig at G2 had me cover Cloud Computing and its various aspects. My research methodologies included Google Scholar, Medium, Feedly, and connecting with industry experts on LinkedIn and Twitter.

I plan to do the same with my current interest in Blockchain and Cryptocurrency. I may be late to the game but I’ve got my big girls shoes on for this one. Let’s have some fun, shall we?
